Not every client is the right client.

The key to a successful photoshoot is making sure the client and the photographer are a good match. While many photographers will happily take any client, I am more selective about who I work with. Portrait and travel photography have changed over the past decade due to the rise of social media.

There has been a surge in the demand for photographers to create content rather than documenting life’s special moments or taking a simple portrait. I take great pride in documenting the authenticity of people, their families, and special events. What I love most is capturing organic moments rather than curated ones that have been planned or rehearsed. This is why you won’t find me on any social media platforms, personally or professionally. If curated or staged portraits are what you prefer, I would recommend seeking a different photographer. If you are someone who is not willing to follow the direction of the photographer and you prefer to direct the shoot, I would kindly suggest you not book a shoot with me. Clients who think they know best and try to direct the shoot undoubtedly end up with photos they don’t like. This is because you are now asking the photographer to create your vision rather than trusting theirs.

I also will not work with any groups or organizations within the travel industry engaging in unethical animal tourism or the mistreatment and exploitation of the local/native people to create a “cultural” experience for foreigners. Thank you for your understanding.
