Hello.

Hi! I’m Aria… a destination portrait and event photographer, born and raised in New York. At the age of 10, I learned about the art of film photography from my great-aunt who was a photography hobbyist. After rummaging through my grandmother’s collection of National Geographics magazines dating back to the 1940s, I decided in the sixth grade I too would travel the world and photograph it. For the past 15 years, I’ve been making my rounds around the globe photographing everything from high-profile events to exotic vacations and wildlife conservation expeditions.

In my early twenties, I began working as a freelance digital retoucher working for various photographers. I eventually branched off to start my own company, focusing on portraiture and events. In the early 2000s, I studied graphic design at FIT and NYU and spent many years working in the fashion and entertainment industry. I have worked with everyone from the United Nations to Jay Z, Versace, Johnson & Johnson, King Juan Carlos, the King of Spain, and even Dr. Fauci. As glamorous and exciting as some of my jobs have been, I’ve always had a passion for owning my own photography company.

Over the past several years, I’ve lived in France, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, and Albania, as well as spending time in China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, South Africa, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Qatar, Hungary, England, Finland, the Bahamas, and Mexico.

I now split my time doing portrait photography as well as focusing on philanthropic and humanitarian projects.

Weird or Different?

I have zero social media. I haven’t owned a tv since 2013. I only write in cursive. I can greet people in 16 languages. I think swimming with sharks and walking with elephants is the most peaceful thing. I have an ENFJ-A personality type, which is only 2% of the world’s population.
